RESIDENTIAL FOOD SCRAP PICKUP

Dirt Rich offers an affordable weekly food scrap pickup service right at your doorstep. Leave your food scrap bucket on the doorstep and we’ll be by to take your scraps and leave you with a new biodegradable bucket liner. Come spring, we offer compost back to our residential customers for reduced rates depending on the amount of waste you’ve contributed.

Five gallon pickup service is collected 1 or 3 times per week.
The usual price is $25/month, though prices may vary by location.

1 Bucket collected 1 time per week = $25

2 Bucket collected 1 time per week = $35

3 Bucket collected 1 time per week = $45

*On average, 35% of your waste stream is food scrap.

We are working with the cities to reduce garbage costs for restaurants that participate in the program.

Please separate all food scrap , including bones, meat and dairy into the provided bin(s). Unbleached napkins and paper containers are acceptable as well. We reserve the right to charge $15/week for heavily contaminated food scraps after a written warning of such an occurrence. These charges are easily avoided with a little bit of attention. We require a $10 deposit on each bucket to ensure return in good condition. Compostable liners from “BioBags” will be provided each week, but washing out the bucket is up to you!
